I need a clear definition of these 2 phrases. As I understand them most people think they are the same thing and use them that way but I believe that the Trinity refers to God the Father, Holy Spirit and Son as one and Truinity refers to them as 3 separate beings serving the same office.

  1. Islam's view of Christianity is that it started off as a religion based in Jewish tradition but accepting Jesus as a prophet and teacher. In time these teachings got replaced by corrupted teachings  that Islam rejects. we believe that  Bible has the words of God, but it also has the words of Jesus, disciples, Narrators, Historians. And also have predictions and interpretations…and if the words of other then God it has -….then definitely it has chance of error. Original Sin, Trinity, and Salvation, these are the concepts that are impossible for any human being to fully understand, let alone explain……even After 2000 years.

  2. Both mean quite the same. The word 'Trinity' is used in relevance to the Doctrine of three persons in one God as some Christian denominations teach...well, almost all churches. Triunity, also a noun, but is used to describe, express or explain of three things that consist in one, and it can also be used to express the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit being in one body of God. In Christian books, Triunity is never used, while Trinity cannot be used outside the religion to describe anything other than the taught doctrine. Triunity comes from the principal word Triune. Perhaps when the doctrine came into existence first English translator created the use of the word Trinity for the teaching in the English version of the three persons in one God, and it remained into becoming a term which is strictly meant for the doctrine's description. Meaning the word never existed until the doctrine came into existence. (Like Yahoo, Microsoft, Multimedia appear only in modern dictionaries). It has no principal word. It stands alone. As you can observe, Trinity must also start with a capital 'T' because the word is a term. Triunity can be used with a small 'T'.

But, for your info, based on research, the word Trinity is never in the bible. It is the assumption of certain followers of Christ to suggest the doctrine is found in Christianity. The teaching was inherited through generations amongst certain lineage of Christians 500 years after the first Christian congregation was formed.

Some Christians of today who are more accurately following the ways of 1st Century Christians do not believe in the Trinity doctrine. The first Christian congregation was formed in Antioch from the hard works of Apostle Paul and Barnabas in early 40 AD, where by divine providence, the disciples were first called Christians. The Roman Emperor Constantine formed the Catholic Church about 500 hundred years later. By then, when the emperor embraced the religion the Christian teachings were already contaminated. Since then Christians began to multiply. It was warned in the bible about the enemy sowing evil seeds...and the Weeds began growing with the Wheat until this very day.

So how then is this so called true Christians managed to regain the truths after it was contaminated by the evil one? You can find it in the Book of Daniel. There was a time given when a certain tragedy shall come into reality on earth that would mark a certain particular group, with the help of the Holy Spirit, to regain the acquired knowledge who shall rise to help all Lost Sheep to be found, and to re-correct the misguided and preach further on Christianity with accuracy. Quite similarly, when God decided to destroy the wicked with the Great Flood, Noah and his small family were spared to survive and continue God's works.

Right from the beginning God clearly taught his people about worshipping only one true God. No such thing as three separate persons in one God. Jesus, when on earth, always address his prayers to His Father. God and the Son are two separate deities. Jesus Christ is not co-equal to the Father. The bible always spoke of the Father being far superior to His Son.  And, Jesus always taught us to pray to our father and to His Father.

God expects followers of Christ to know and understand God from the image of His Son whom He had sent to earth to save believers from eternal death, which Adam had been punished for. Adam's penalty for disobedience was death, (God said to both Adam and Eve: " ...You shall die..." as they were driven from the garden of Eden) which is why all human beings have to die because of their sins, but through the teachings of Christ true believers shall have hope of redemption, which is the Will of God, and granted eternal life which was His original purpose for mankind.

So the bible described Christ Jesus as the likeness of God Himself from the examples and qualities that Jesus possesses. It was the intension of God to show his qualities through Jesus, in human form, so man at that time could clearly understand God and to those believers who had to read them in the bible. Without knowing Christ Jesus, we wouldn't have been able to get a better idea of who God is by nature. In Jesus, He is approachable, loving, patient, forgiving, humble, peaceful, and these are what God wanted people to know of him. If Jesus didn't show these qualities, people tend to stay much away from God. Jesus' inviting attitude draws people closer to God. So Jesus likeness to God, and what the bible described Jesus being was like a god was not meant that Jesus is actually God Himself. A total big no!

God is eternity. Not Christ. Jesus was God's first born. God used Jesus to help create this world. And, all the powers that Jesus possesses were from God.

God's intension of using His Son to describe his own nature was wrongly received that developed into believing Jesus Christ is God Himself...partially. Very wrong! Most followers of Christ ha

  3. In nomine Patris, et Filii, et spiritus Sancti, Amen.

  4. The teachings of the Church contradict the teachings of Jesus (pbuh) and that is the cause of the confusion.

If a sincere christian who wants to follow Jesus (peace be upon him), asks priests about trinity, the answer that he gets is "It is a Mystery, not explained by Jesus (pbuh) clearly", at that time again those forget that Jesus (pbuh) said,

"I spoke openly to the world. I always taught in synagogues and in the temple, where the Jews always meet, and in secret I have said nothing" (John 18:20 (NKJ)).

If trinity is confusing enough to be called a mystery, it cannot be from God. Because:

"God is not a God of confusion."—1 Corinthians 14:33, Revised Standard Version (RS).

There was no mystery in the message of Jesus (pbuh), nothing secret. Will you accept the priests' so called "mystery of trinity" and forget clear commandments of Jesus (pbuh)?

    Jesus (pbuh) clearly said:

    A) Mark 12:29: "the Lord our God, the lord is One".

    B) Metthew: 26:39: "He went a little farther and fell on His face and prayed" (Following Jesus (pbuh) way is following what he did). Jesus (pbuh) prayed to one God

    C) Matthew 4:10 "You shall worship the Lord, your God, and him only you shall serve"

    D) John 5:19: "Most truly I say to you, the son cannot do a single thing of his own initiative but only what he beholds the father doing."

    E) Matthew 19:17. "And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments."

    F) John 7:16  Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me

    G) Revelation 22:9 (King James Version):  "Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God."

    H) Matthew 27:46:  "Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?" -- which means, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"

    (I) Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God:

    John 8:54

The trinity is a doctrine from about the year 325 AD, It has its roots in polytheism, It is not in the bible unless you really, really stretch it to fit.

Jesus didn't have to hide the concept of trinity if it were the basis of salvation. He otherwise would have said very clearly that God is one in three, and I am God, worship me. Try to find these words in Bible and you can't.

The New Catholic Encyclopedia - 1967, VOL. XIV, PAGE 299:

The formulation "one God in three Persons" was not solidly established, certainly not fully assimilated into Christian life and its profession of faith, PRIOR TO THE END OF THE 4TH CENTURY. But it is precisely this formulation that first claimed to title "The Trinitarian Dogma. AMONG THE APOSTOLIC FATHERS, THERE HAD BEEN NOTHING EVEN REMOTELY APPROACHING SUCH A MENTALITY OR PERSPECTIVE.

You should not accept the word “son” literally . Word "son" was used in bible for general human beings and other prophets also. "we all are the children of father in heavens" indicates that word "son" was used in different meaning of love and care.

Mathew: 5:9. "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called the sons of God.”

Jesus , Moses, Mohammad (peace be upon them), they all worshiped the same God, the God of Ibrahim (pbuh). All prophets taught "surrendering one's will to God" that is the meaning of word "Islam".

JAMES 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

There was just not one holy book sent by God on earth through His messengers. The last testiment "Quran" had to be there  from the same source, with many similarities, but correcting mistakes in earlier ones made by humans.

Muslims love Jesus (pbuh), they believe in his miraculous birth with the will of God without a father or sexual act (the way Adam was born without a mother and father), , they believe in miracles that Jesus (pbuh) performed with permission of God, muslims faith demands them to believe Jesus (pbuh) was a great prophet of God and belief in the original message of Jesus (pbuh) the massaya.

Qur’an, revealed to the Prophet Muhammed (an illiterate person, who didn't know how to read or write) some 600 years after Jesus (pbuh) corrects the errors that crept (knowingly or unknowingly) into the message that Jesus (pbuh) brought. This book was not preserved on paper or in one church but in hearts of thousands of muslims who memorised Quran word by word the way it was revealved and recited it daily 5 times in prayers. After Mohammad (pbuh), there was not even one dispute about a word of Quran in compiling it, that's how what you see today is only one original Quran in arabic with exact words in each one of them. Quran should prove to be a very valuable asset to both Muslims and Christians.

Quran: [4:171] O people of the scripture, do not transgress the limits of your religion, and do no
