Trio commit futures to Saracens
Brad Barritt, Alex Goode and Andy Saull have all agreed to new three-year contracts to stay at Saracens for the foreseeable future.
The rising English stars are among the best young players in the country and it's extremely important that Saracens has managed to tie them down for the long-term.
"Each of these youngsters will play a massive role in the future of our club and, hopefully, of England rugby as well.
They have committed their futures to us because they sincerely believe there is something special happening at Saracens and they want to be part of it," said director of rugby Brendan Venter.
Each player has a lot he can offer to the club over the next three years. The individual qualities of each player will be integral to any success the club achieves in this
time.
Player quality
Barritt is used most effectively in the centre of the pitch. He is very big and strong, which allows him to compete for the ball over 80 minutes in the middle. His passing
is good enough to switch play out wide thus creating more scoring opportunities.
Goode plays as a full back in the Saracens team. He covers the defence and can make long runs from the back or kick long. He is most effective when the team is taking a
lot of pressure and looking to move forward.
Saull is one of the most attacking players in the club. He stays out on either flank of the side waiting for a good ball to receive and then run with. His pace is very
fast, which means he can dart through the smallest of gaps left in the opposition defence.
Saracens holds a very firm belief that the youth academy and teams should be the strongest areas of the club. This ensures the future of the club is protected through these
new deals.
Betting advice
The future of Saracens looks very safe and secure. Saull is the best player to back out of these three in any game because he is faster and will have the most chances to
score tries and points.
