Trip to Italy? I've never been. Going with a couple that like to take it easy, relax, drink....?

Where should we go for 5 or 6 days? We just want to relax, see a few sites and enjoy the culture, food and people.

i'm italian. you are going in the right country.

south italy is more easy and relax then north. i'm from naples and you can come here, going one day in Capri, one-two in sorrento-positano-amalfi. near naples there are pompei-ercolano, and naples is beautiful, in front of the sea with many bars, beach-party, we have some museums, much culture...

and from naples with 1h30' by train you can arrive in rome.

other destinations, are sardinia (wonderful nature site, much tourists, top beaches)

sicily (culture and wonderful sites).
