Trip to Kenya... any thoughts PLS?

Hi folks!

I’ll soon be taking off to Kenya, Nairobi for a 4-day international conference, and I wanted to see if u guys – anybody who knows Nairobi pretty well – could give me some tips as to what I SHOULD pay a visit to and enjoy in Nairobi….and how about for having a ‘memorable’ kinda fun, ya know what I mean?!

Pls just pour as many thoughts as comes to your mind… I appreciate that! THANKS!

Just take a small group of armed mercenaries with you when you travel around the country and you should be OK.

Hi Henni... you will love Kenya.. I came here 31 yrs ago and have loved it. I am living in Mombasa but spent many years up in Nairobi. I take it your "memorable fun" would mean night gals?? Well you will find lotsa them but be truly careful...you are playing with fire!  Dont get me wrong, there are also so many of the beautiful Kenyan girls who are not connected to the 'Night Trade' and who will be a delight for you to meet. Nairobi has a wealth of great restaurants and if you're on a conference trip am sure you will be staying at one of its fine hotels. All these hotels will provide you with advice and will also tell you that its not safe to simply walk around the streets at night. Daytime is a bit better but refrain from exposing your gold jewellery!! You will enjoy your stay, just take the normal sensible precautions .. Ya know what I mean!!
