Trip to mexico- Customs?

Hello, I am going to mexico this winter. this is my itinerary:

Leaving seattle at 735PM on a virgin america flight to los angeles, arrive 1015PM. Leaving los angeles at 11:30PM on a mexicana flight to mexico city, arriving at 5:00AM. leaving mexico city at 8:30, arriving in Cancun at 10:30AM.

Do you think I could do customs in Seattle? instead of los angeles? because I heard you should be there 2 hours before your international departure to go thru customs, and im only in LA for an hour, approx.

And if it wouldn't be possible to do customs in seattle, how long does it take to go thru customs in LA at night?

I seriously doubt it.  When you arrive you enter the immigration hall.  You must go through customs on arrival.  There is no way to get to your departing aircraft with out going through customs.
