Triple Charm primed to perform well at Kempton
Triple Charm is expected to unleash a charming performance at Kempton racecourse and notch up top spot in the high-profile race of Download William Hill From The App-Store Handicap which will take place on Saturday, March 31.
The Jeremy Noseda-trained young filly will compete against Taajub, New Leyf, Sacrosanctus, We Have A Dream, Tagula Night, Shropshire, Courageous, Farlow, Arctic Feeling, Mac Gille Eoin and Button Moon.
The Class 3 contest over 6f distance is scheduled to start at 4:40 (GMT). The total prize money reserved for the event is £8,410.
Triple Charm has been delivering outstanding performances since the very beginning of her career. After finishing fifth each in her first two races during August-September 2011, the talented filly went on to bag a couple of consecutive victories in October-November.
The dashing sprinter elegantly won her last outing at Lingfield on February 24, 2012. She was 11-10 favourite for that race.
Thus, the brilliant filly has fifty percent success ratio which makes her a strong contender for the Handicap title.
However, she has not run at Kempton so far and this is the only thing that can go against her. But the novice runner will surely be able to manage the situation with her excellent racing skills.
Triple Charm’s chances to finish first in the race are as high as 95 percent provided she takes a good start after breaking from Trap 12.
On the opposite side, there are two worthy geldings named as Taajub and Farlow who can give enough tough time to the favourite runner.
Taajub is on a hat-trick. The Peter Crate-trained bay gelding accomplished two consecutive triumphs during February 2012. He ran for both the times at Lingfield with favourite tags. Overall, he has won 3 out of his total 18 starts to date.
On the other hand, Farlow won two races in a row during June-July 2011. Ralph Beckett’s talented gelding moved forward to attain a victory along with a runner-up rank in the month of August. He also has 3 wins to his name.
Thus, there will be a tough tug of war among these three runners. Triple Charm will have to fight with her back to the wall in order to keep her head high. Good luck to the filly.
