Triple H apologises to former WWE Champion John Cena and WWE Universe on his wrong decision
The Chief Operating Officer of WWE, Triple H apologised to the former WWE Champion, John Cena and the WWE Universe August 15 during Monday Night Raw due to his wrong decision at WWE’s pay-per-view event SummerSlam.
The COO acted as a special guest referee in the “WWE Champion Vs WWE Champion” between the WWE Champions John Cena and CM Punk at SummerSlam on August 14. The match was by mistake taken by The Second City Saviour, Punk as Cena’s foot was over the first rope
while The Game made a three count. Furthermore, The Game’s lifelong friend, Kevin Nash also brutally assaulted Punk when he became the Undisputed WWE Champion.
This gave a great opportunity for Alberto Del Rio to cash his Money in the Bank briefcase which he successfully did. The Undisputed WWE Champion lost his title on the spot to Del Rio.
Tonight, The COO apologised to Cena and WWE Universe for all the occurrences of SummerSlam. The Monday Night Raw segment took place at Valley View Casino Centre in San Diego, California. The segment opened with the highlights of WWE Championship match at
SummerSlam. Afterwards, The Game, wearing a black suit, made his way towards the ring.
The Game took the microphone and started speaking that WWE Universe was upset at how SummerSlam went off air one night before segment. The Game said that he apologised to fans and Cena as he realised by watching replays that he had made a mistake. Hunter
appreciated that Cena and Punk had a great and amazing fight and if he would not have made the mistake, no one could imagine that who would have the victory.
Triple H stated about his friend Kevin that whether Nash was his friend but he was not acknowledged about the fact he was going to attack Punk. He was not also aware of Del Rio’s cashing Money in the bank contract. The Game ended by saying that he promised
that there would be the Undisputed WWE Champion after SummerSlam and there he was. Afterwards, The Game left the ring as Del Rio came out to address the WWE Universe.
