Triple H finally accepts The Undertaker’s rematch offer – Wrestling news
After declining the offer multiple times, Triple H has finally agreed to face The Undertaker in a h**l in a Cell match at WrestleMania 28 this year.
The cerebral assassin accepted ‘the Deadman’s’ offer in yesterday’s Monday Night Raw Show.
Triple H had previously rejected The Undertaker’s offer for a rematch saying that it is not good for WWE since The Undertaker is among the few remaining superstars from the attitude era.
Last week, Shawn Michaels, Triple H’s best friend and probably the most entertaining athlete the WWE has ever seen, confronted Triple H to ask him reasons for not accepting the offer. Triple H bluntly told his friends that his reasons are legitimate and
he cannot put The Undertaker’s career in jeopardy just to end his streak.
Triple H fought The Undertaker last year at WrestleMania 27 with aims of ending ‘the Deadman’s’ streak but he failed. However, Triple H made sure that The Undertaker leaves on a stretcher. The Undertaker was severely injured by Triple H’s brutal beating
and so he did not return to the ring for nearly 8 months until January 2012. The Undertaker showed up last month calling out Triple H for a rematch but ‘the Game’ out rightly rejected the offer. The Undertaker seemed irked by Triple H’s rejection and so he
tried his level best to avenge the humiliation he suffered last year.
Promos of The Undertaker waiting to get his hands on Triple H were being shown nearly every week. To spice things up, Shawn Michaels was sending out several tweets and video messages in an attempt to persuade Triple H for the match. However, nothing worked
until this Monday when Triple H accepted the offer. According to ‘the Game’, this will be the end of an era once both men will leave the steel cage on WrestleMania 28.
WrestleMania 28 is already set to be one of the biggest events in WWE history. The Rock will be making his comeback to fight John Cena in a generation vs. generation match. Now, with the addition of this h**l in a Cell bout, things are getting even better.
