Triple H will fight for four more years as per his new contract with WWE – WWE News
A recent 10-K report for 2011 was published by WWE that showed Triple H’s new contract signed with the organisation. Paul Levesque, better known by his ring name ‘Triple H’, will be fighting for more years. This new contract between the organisation and
Paul went into effect from January 1, 2012, and will remain intact until March 30, 2016.
Some prominent contents of the contract include:
- Triple H will receive $1 million every year as ‘Minimum Annual Compensation’ as per the contract for his ring presence.
- Triple H will attend the ringside for 180 dates throughout a year. However, this clause is amendable with the consent of both the parties.
- Triple H will not be able to perform or work for any other wrestling or martial arts organisation until the contract is in effect.
Triple H is currently scheduled to fight The Undertaker on WrestleMania 28. The match will be a h**l in a cell match. This will be the second time Triple H will take on The Undertaker. Last year, both the men went head to head on WrestleMania 27 and The
Undertake won it. His streak was on the line while Triple H had nothing to lose. It was a No Holds Barred match. The Undertaker was brutally beaten by Triple, yet he managed to win. However, he went away from the ringside on a stretcher, which he considered
humiliation.
The Undertaker made his return earlier this month to avenge the humiliation that came at the hands of Triple H last year. Initially Triple H refused to get in a match against him, even though he was being pressurised by his long time friend, Hall of Famer
and Mr. WrestleMania, Shawn Michaels. Triple H kept on saying that fighting with The Undertaker ‘is bad for business’. However, on last week’s Raw SuperShow, The Undertaker managed to irk Triple H enough to get his approval for the match. The Undertaker said
that Triple H has always been inferior to his buddy HBK and that is the reason why he is afraid of facing The Undertaker. This is when Triple H walked back to the ring and accepted the match offer.
