Trish Johnson to grace the field of ISPS Handa Ladies British Masters
The dates for the ISPS Handa Ladies British Masters have been announced and Trish Johnson is among the players who have announced her availability for the event.
This is an important event for Trish Johnson, who will start the event with her compatriot Felicity Johnson. This is a great pairing to watch out for as both the players have great potential and excellent golf skills. The third member of the pairing is the
Swedish player, Carin Koch.
Trish Johnson has not been on top of her game lately. In the last three LET tournaments, she has played a lacklustre game that shocked her fans. Many of these fans hope that the Ladies British Masters will prove lucky for her and she would recover her previous
form.
The last LET tournament that Johnson played in was Ladies Irish Open. She missed the cut after the two rounds. The first round was her worst, in which she scored 77 points.
This included four bogeys and a double bogey. The next round was comparatively better with a score of 75. She sank seven bogeys, four of which were in continuation on holes 4, 5, 6 and 7.
Before Ladies Irish Open, Trish Johnson played in the Evian Masters, presented by Societe Generale. This was another disappointment for her and her fans. Johnson missed the cut with a score of 151 points.
She scored 77 points in the first round that included two birdies. However, this advantage was lost when she sank four bogeys and a single double bogey.
She seemed to recover in the second round with a score of 74. Again, her advantage of three birdies was offset by three bogeys and a double bogey.
Trish Johnson’s best performance so far this year is a fourth place. She has done this twice. The first fourth place came early in the year. She played in Aberdeen Asset Management Ladies Scottish Open presented by EventScotland and scored 214 points.
The next fourth place was in UniCredit Ladies German Open presented by Audi. She scored 279 points there.
Trish Johnson is a great golfer who is going through a rough patch. Ladies British Masters is a perfect place for her to end this patch and return to her former great form.
