Triumph Bonneville solo coil spring seat?

has anyone fit a coil spring seat on a bonneville? Similar to a royal enfield solo seat?

Have not done it on a bonnie, but i have on plenty of other bikes. You'll probably have to weld a couple of studs on the frame for the springs to go over. Then you drill through the studs and secure the springs with a couple of quick release pins. There are a couple of companies that make solo seat mounting kits that bolt on. you might find one of these that you could adapt to your bonnie. Check the net or the custom bike mags like The Horse or Cycle Source. The kits can be found on Ebay too.
