I mean professional boxers with all due respect to Stephenson. I know he was great but never fought professionally.

  1. ray robinson

  2. I don't know but one thing I know for sure is that no current fighters can do that. Fighters nowaday don't even have 100 fights on their record. Those oldtimers are tough.

  3. You can add Buck Smith to Woody's list, (179 wins, 120 by KO), great question, I enjoyed the answers as much as the question.

  4. I know that "The Old Mongoose" Archie Moore has the record for most knockouts with 145 (some say 131)

The greatest pound for pound fighter of all time, Sugar Ray Robinson had 108 knockouts.

The featherweight champ, Sandy Saddler had 103 knockouts.

Sam Langford who is arguably the best fighter to never hold a world title had 130 knockouts.

Another pound for great, Henry Armstrong had 101 knockouts.

There are probably others, but thats all I got for now.

Edit: props to Woody and Maurice for naming; Young Stribling (128), Joe Gans (108), and Alabama Kid (107).

  5. The only one I can think of is Teofilo Stevenson, from Cuba.

His exact record is unknown by most accounts, but he did have over 300 wins.  (The only fighter Ali wouldn't fight.)

  6. archie moore-131

    ray robinson-108

    young stribbling-128

    henry armstrong-101

    joe gans-106

    sandy saddler- 103

  7. Well, just from boxrec.com, I counted eight men; Sam Langford (130), Archie Moore (131), Young Stribling (128), Alabama Kid (107), Sugar Ray Robinson (108), Henry Armstrong (101), Joe Gans (106), and Saddy Sandler (103).

There could possibly be some lightly known fighter or fighter with an incomplete record who could be on the list.
