I have a Minnkota 24v bowmount. The batterys (interstate)are only 1 year old. I have plenty of power initially, but they quickly die. The connections are all good. I suspect one of the battereis are bad, but I don't know how to check. Any suggestions?

  1. You can take the batteries to a parts store and have them load tested. It sounds as if there may be a plate shorted out in one of them.

  2. Check the voltage on your batteries as you are running the motor. The same as having it load tested.

  3. ok you have one new one so that shouldnt be the culprit   its the old one, check the water in the battery fill it if you have to   then by a new one heck why knot it gives you pleasure doesnt it
