How do you play high B-flat on the trombone (one octave higher than the B-flat on top of the staff)?

  1. It is in first position.  Try angling your air down in your mouthpiece and use lots of adominal force to push the air out.  


  2. 1st position. fast air speed, articulate tee for extremely high register
