  1. Have you thought about a cruise??  You can do a european cruise, mexican rivera cruise, or the southern caribbean.

  2. My cousin and his wife honeymooned in Tahiti and loved it.  Not many other places like it if you're ruling out Hawaii, the Caribbean, the Bahamas, etc.  Question for you:  Why not Hawaii?  My wife and I took an anniversary trip to the island of Kauai and it was great...

  3. Other polynesian islands - Cook Islands, Tonga, Samoa, Vanuatu.

Some asian tropical islands - eg. Phuket or Koh Samui (Thailand), Langkawi (Malaysia), Boracay (Phillipines), + there is some beautiful new resorts opening up in Vietnam which are supposed to be fantastic that I have yet to experience).

Australia - Cairns, Port Douglas or some of the islands in the Whitsundays (eg. Dunk, Bedarra, Lizard, Fraser ).

  4. My favorite would be Maldives, Seychelles or Mauritius for a tropical exotic romantic honeymoon.

They are all expensive like Tahiti, Fiji....unfortunately.

  5. Go to Virgin Islands. It's closer to the US and less expensive. The beaches are gorgeous down there, I'm told. :D

    Congrats!

  6. It depends on what you want...

I think Fiji is very young and clubby....tahiti not so much. but it is the holiday get away for all the aussies.

me i would go to one of the islands off the coast of india, not expensive and still not discovered, not touristy. and you could experience the locals and their culture, lovley beaches. the journey getting there will be half the fun.

but as i say it depends if you want a livley or laid back.

    hope iv helped
