Tropical Plants?

hi i am looking for tropical plants i live in an area where it can get up to 40 degrees celcius in summer and can get to 0 degrees celcius in winter and i was wondering what type of tropical plants would survive here because i am planning on making a huge rainforest and i have a plant called the tree fern which i got about 2 months ago and it is growing fine and so i want to know what kind of rain forest i can get and i think i want a tropical or a rainforest like the ones in new zealand and most of their plants are available to me and so what i need to know is what type of canopy tree should i get and any plants that would grow that are tropical and newzealandish and if you have websites that would be great

  1. Most tropical plants won't survive 0 degree weather.  If you consider bamboo tropical, they can survive 0-40 degree Celsius weather.  Be careful with running bamboo since they are difficult to control.
