1. Clown Loaches DO NOT grow to the size of the tank. They get stunted, meaning that their body stops growing, but their organs don't. 1 needs a minimum of 75 gallons, plus they prefer to be in schools of 3 or more.

The Pictus Cat will grow up to 12 cm actually, and should be in a tank no less than 20 gallons. Seeing as yours is about 20 gallons, the only things you could have in the tank are the Tetras and maybe the Pictus.

I suggest you give the Clown Loaches away to a hobbyist who can take proper care of them.

    E-mail me for any questions!

  2. ...the pictus and loaches may enjoy some cave-like structures for their reclining

...if you have three teras, perhaps increase the size of that shoal, as well, to around 5 or 7

....the danios are really enjoyable...so perhaps 5 or 7

...zebras as well as long-finned danios

....and dwarf gouramis, 2 or 3

....and add several living plants which will absorb lots of ammonia and nitrates

...may i suggest 'corkscrew vallisneria spiralis'

    ....dwarf sagitteria subulata

    ....Dwarf Mondo grass

  3. That clown loach will get way too big for your tank. I think 80 liters is about 20 U.S. gallons. You need a bigger tank for that. I think the pictus will also get too large.

  4. I do believe your clown loach shoals with your pictus cat, because it is desperately lonely! They like to be in groups of 3 or more, so get some more clown loaches so the poor thing doesn't have to follow your pictus cat around! Your poor little tetras are in too small of a group, too. They prefer to be in groups of 5 or more, so get some more of them, too. Those are my suggestions.
