  1. if you have a good blender, you can make some pina coladas!

    *you will need*

    >>any type of RUM: bacardi rum. coconut malibu.

               cruzan pinaaple rum

    > 2-3 cups ice (the ice from ice trays works but is better if bought)

    >cream of cocunut.... about 1/3 cup

    >pineapple juice....... about 1/3 cup

    >vanilla ice cream.... 3 scoops

put all of these in blender> in no type of order

    and blend

you can top it of with whipped cream and a cherry or leave like that.

it  will make at least 4-6 drinks depending on how big the cups are....

it should taste like a smoothy...

not strong, and just sweet... almost like ice cream...

its soo good... even you will love them, because im not much of  a drinker let alone a liquor drinker....

    another easy one,

    is to buy

cranberry juice and a bottle of 99apples>

    its 99proof>

    its very strong!

and put about a cup of cranberry juice and 1-2 shots of the 99apples...

depending on how strong it is after the first shot you can decide if you want another one.......

anything with pinapple juice is going to be sweet and tropical....

you can also buy sprite grenadine and some rum

    and mix that together.......

    good luck and have fun!

  2. theres a drink called the miami vice, it is basically a layered frozen drink. make a batch of pina coladas and a batch of daiquiris, then pour into individual glasses: the pina colada first on the bottom then the daiquiris next on top. it will look cool too because it will be white on the bottom then blend into the red on top. it is a smooth drink too.

  3. jungle juice...alot of rum...alot of juice...and cut alot of fruit up and throw it in there...no exact recipe just add more juice to make it less potent...people will like eating the alchol soaked fruit.

  4. Can't go wrong with the classic Pina Colada. You can buy premade drink mixes from any liquor store. Just make sure you gotta blender and good rum!

  5. The best drink EVER I got on my honeymoon in Maui and have made it ever since.  It's called a Lava Flo, it's Strawberry's swirled up through a bananay pina colada, soooo good!  Here's the recipe :

    Lava Flow Ingredients

    1 ounce Light rum

    1 ounce Malibu rum

    2 ounce Strawberries

1 Banana, ripe but not overripe

    2 ounce Pineapple juice unsweetened

    2 ounce Coconut cream

    Lava Flow Preparation

Blend strawberries and the two rums in a blender into a smooth paste. Pour the paste into a hurricane glass. Rinse the blender. Blend banana, coconut cream, and pineapple juice in blender until smooth. Pour this mixture into the glass with the rums SLOWLY. The strawberry/rum mix should creep up the sides of the glass to make a wonderful looking (and tasting) summertime cocktail!

    Have fun!!!

  6. Here's a Mai Tai recipe I cobbled together from a bunch of other recipes. Worked on it for a 50s tiki party and they were a huge hit. I was able to "downscale" some of the more expensive ingredients so we could make a lot and still have them taste great.

    3 parts light rum

    1 1/2 parts dark rum

    1 part triple Sec

    1 part amaretto

    1 part lime juice

    3 parts pineapple juice

    grenadine to taste

Either shake it all together or shake without the dark rum and float that on top. Garnish with orange slices, pineapple wedge, marachino cherry.

  7. The Mai Tai is a classic, and has some POP!

    Recipes are everywhere.

  8. Got some time?  If so, peel, core and slice a fresh pineapple and put it in a large wide-mouth jar.  Cover completely with coconut rum and then add another bottle.  Put the lid onnit and just let it hang out for a week or 2 or 3 or whatever--I have some "hooching" at the shore that's been there > a year and it only gets better with time.  Anyway, when you're ready to start luauing, get about 1/2 slice of the pineapple, a goodly amount of the rum,  a scoop of nilla ice cream and some shaved ice and blend it all up in the blender.  Pour it in a glass and put one of those stoopid little umbrella things innit.

  11. Parrot Bay coconut rum mixed with pineapple juice

    simple and VERY easy

just mix it till you like it

  12. Whatever you decide to make, make large quantities and serve them as punch - it will be easier and more affordable - i'm thinking for a luau, pichers of Mai Tai, Rum Runners, Malibu Bay Breezes (Malibu Rum, Cran and Pineapple) and Cape Cods (Vodka & Cran with Lime) - have a great time and have fun!
