Tropical fish community - 50 gallon?

• 4 Dwarf gouramis

• 2 Kribensis

• 2 Apistos

• 2 Angelfish

• 4 Blue Rams

  1. Unfortunately, the Angelfish will not go with the apistos or the blue rams. They may be able to cope with the rams' and the apistos' aggression if you keep the angels in a group ofo 4, though.


  2. The fish that I would worry about is the red tail balck shark as they can become aggressive. Angelfish and apistogrammas in a large enough tank work well. I have some Bolivian rams in with my angelfish and the get along very well. Yes I even have a breeding pair of angelfish in that tank.

  3. Ya I guess that would work, not sure about how gouramis get along cus I have never kept them but do some research and see if they can tolerate their own kind. I know for a fact though that you would be much better off with just one pair of blue rams. They are still chicilds and will not tolerate another pair especially if they are breeding. Be careful with the other fish too if you plan to breed them, you may need another tank to move them too. Also be aware that angelfish can sometimes be more aggressive than you think too. Don't let any of this deter you though just do your research and Good Luck
