  1. what is a semi fish there are several types of community tanks some are aggresive some are not your asking us to make a determanation with out knowing what fish you have

what you are calling semi aggresive some of us may call pasive what your calling community fish we may feel they are aggresive

and some types of semi or aggresive fish do fine in community tanks

so with out knowing what they fish are we would only be inviteing diesaster by giveing advise

  2. What are your semi fish and what are your community fish?  It has been my  experience that as long as the other fish are larger than the aggressive there are not many problems.  Also are the semi aggressive the same species?  Alot of the times if they are they will fight over territory if there is not enough space and hiding spaces for each to call home.  I do not know your tank size, but if space is permitting, maybe consider a couple larger peaceful tankmates.  Again, just based on my experiences.

  3. It all depends on what kind of fish you have. Some semi will get along with Community fish. You can also take tank size in consideration. But the more Semi agressive fish you add to your tank the more problems you may have with fighting. I would try to keep a happy balance.
