  1. Tropical storm fay should be out into the gulf or only effect the west side of the state by saturday. I live in citrus county were the storm is supposed to cross over into the gulf. Melbourne may get some light rain and breezes but nothing like what they just went though so you should be fine. Also it rains in florida almost everyday .... so the weather maps will always say some percentage of rain.

  2. I'm in Orlando and today is the worst day so far.  I'm not sure when its leaving.  I think the weekend.  Its goin into the ocean and then back west.  I guess we'll know more in a couple of days to see how north it goes.  try wkmg or the weather channel.  Any of the local stations give details.  I'm so sick of seeing rain outside the window.

  3. Fay has left, and we're used to rain all the time during sumer here anyway. When you come you'll still see alot of leaves and **** all over the roads and yards, but it didn't hit us as hard as the keys. You might have a hard time flying through that storm tho. The storm is going to cause alot of flight delays for anyone not coming from the east coast

  4. It appears the main portion of Fay has pulled north of Melbourne, but Melbourne will still potentially get some periods of rain from any rainbands.  There should not be any long periods of rain there anymore, but the circulation of Fay will keep at least a small chance for rain there for a couple more days.
