I'm a freshman this year and it is our 5 day of school. Well we had a major Physical Science test today. Out of 32 student I'm the only one that made 100% and the teacher called me out in front of the whole class. I know it wasn't exactly fair but now I'm getting talked about and people are hating on me. I didn't have any control over her doing that. I studied really hard for that test too, and it is kinda bring me down now. I need some advice or up-lifter, something.

Thanks.

  1. Forget about it. Tomorrow is a new day. Let your teacher know it embarrasses you when she does that.

  2. gee, the teacher really blew it by telling everyone what you got....I know students always want to know who did the best and worst.

It's tough getting singled out, but you did well by putting some hard work into it....they are really jealous and don't know  how to react to save face for their scores. Smile to yourself when they say something and enjoy the moment!!!

  3. does it really matter what other people think? if you got a 100 you should be proud. thats great! some people dont care or worry about their future. be yourself and do your best. be smug about it if you have to be, it's not your fault at all that they're jealous.

  4. You did awesome! Don't let it bring you down. So what if she called you out in front of the class? The students who are talking about you are just jealous because you got a better score. Be proud. The teacher probably shouldn't have called you out, but just be proud of your grade. They will get bored and stop talking about it soon.

  5. s***w everyone else. You did well. BE HAPPY! You were recognized for and excellant performance. Soon you will be talking about them, when they don't get into college.

  6. Tell everyone your sorry that she called you out.  Tell them you studied hard and earn that grade. You shouldn't have apologize for being smart!

  7. First off, congratulations on your perfect score! Your hard work paid off!

Second, it doesn't matter what people will say about you as long as what you are doing is right. As Eleanor Roosevelt said, "No one can make you feel inferior without your consent." You earned that grade and deserve recognition. Don't feel bad because there is no logical reason to.

Third, if it embarrasses you to be singled out in front of the class let your teacher know.

Lastly, next time someone in your class gets a good grade congratulate them. Remember how it felt to be put down.

Again, way to go!! Looks like your freshman year is off to a good start :)

  8. Who cares what they think! You did awesome! 100% WHOOO GO YOU! You will be happy in college:) keep it up and let them hate!

  9. Is there something wrong with 100%? So it makes you look like a geek. Oh, well. You studied hard and got the grade you studied for. What if she called you up front and you had failed?

Next time you see the teacher, tell her you were embarrassed by being singled out. She probably thought she was making you feel good by doing that.
