Trouble at school first week?

Did your kid's ever get into trouble in elementary school, if so what happened?

My son brought home a PENTHOUSE MAGAZINE he is 7 year old and in 2nd grade, this girl had taken it to school and told him to take it home and he did and I caught him and made him explain to his teacher what happened, he didn't get into trouble for taking it home except from me, and he was told to stay away from this girl, for real who in their right mind would have this stuff out at home. SECOND GRADER COME ON!!! UGH

Son lost his allowance for 2 weeks for taking something from someone, he was warned about that 2 weeks before this due to taking a phone he found that was not his.

I seriously wonder what is going on in that little girls home. I find the fact that a second grader had access to that filth very disturbing. As for your son... I would keep on with the discipline to keep him in line. Also talk to him about why the magazine is inappropriate for kids and why he is being punished. Good Luck.

Well for one I would talk to the parent's and let them know what happened.  If the little girl did not get in trouble at school then chances are her parents do not even know what happened and need to be informed so they know they need to keep their things hidden.

Next I would explain to my son that some things are meant for adults only not little boys and girls.  Then remember this wasn't something your son found and decided to take it was given to him by a classmate.  Taking away his allowance for 2 weeks may be a little steep.  Maybe take it for a week and then tell him before he accepts anything from another student he needs to show it to someone else to make sure it is a good thing.

It sounds more to me like the little girl knew the magazine was wrong and for whatever reason she wanted to get your son in trouble.  Definitely time to talk to the teacher and parents.

i wouldnt punish him....just make sure that he knows that it was very wrong and make sure he knows why (objectifying women, etc.)...also talk to the girls parents...they might not know what happened

i never even meant a person that does that but back to ur Q i remember i got into fights a lot but u should let ur kid talk to her maybe he'll get lucky lmao j/p
