Trouble converting recorderd dvr shows to burn to dvd?

how do i burn a dvd of a tv show that i down loaded to my computer from my dvr. i burned it using my regular burner program but i cant watch it on a dvd player. does it have to be reformated. I tried the avs video converter and all i get is a green scrambled screen.

  1. You have to convert your recorded video to DVD format at first, and then add a DVD menu to it, otherwise it cannot play on regular DVD player.

    I always use convertxtodvd to burn DVD, it's easy to use and works pretty well for me, you may download it for a try. And here is a guide about how to use it
