Im wanting to go to Ibiza for my hols, I have been to San Antonio Bay which was nice but I want to try something different.

Im 26 yrs and will be going for 14 nights with my boyf. I really want to go to Santa Eulalia but have been looking at Cala Llonga on the net.

Which do u think will be best, I still want to do the clubbing thing, I know I will have to get a ferry or bus but thats ok..

I want somewhere with a beautiful beach and lots of bars and restaurants. But not too boring at the same time.

All help and advice much appreciated.

  1. Santa Eulalia definitley. Cala Llonga is nice, but in my opinion, I think you'll find it's going to be too quiet for you. The beaches there are lovely but theres not much in the way of nightlife apart from family bars & restauarants. There are two hotels in Cacla Llonga - Playa Dorada & Playa Imperial which attract lots and lots of families with kiddies and the life in the resort is geared towards that or a much older crowd.

Santa Eulalia is much nicer- more up market and grown up. The beach is fabulous and although it does also appeal to families, the whole atmosphere is different.

There is a beautiful, palm-lined promenade running the length of the broad and sandy beach, and some excellent hotels and apartments in and around the town itself.

It also boasts a beautiful and exclusive Yacht Marina, some of the island's best restaurants, some very exclusive shopping, and a thriving all-year community, ensure that life in Santa Eulalia is led at a rather slower and more relaxing pace. There are some excellent bars here too, but the nightlife is nothing like Ibiza or San Antonio.

Even although compared to San An Bay or Ibiza town S Eulalia is quieter, it's not quite as quiet as Cala Llonga.

Of course, there is always Ibiza town or even Playa d'en Bossa to consider as it's close prximity to Ibiza town makes it popular with those who can't quite afford to stay in the town itself.

I hope this helps you- All the very best of luck.
