Trouble in a hard class?

I signed up for an AP class along with my other accelerated classes. It is so hard for me. The only thing is, I haven't been putting every bit of effort into it. I am not used to working extremely hard in order to get good grades. NOw I have a D in it. I want to work harder in it for now on, but is it too late? Should I drop?

Today, I did something kind of dumb(with the homework) and the teacher chose to pretty much point it out so the whole class could know. I am humiliated and I feel like a lazy, stupid person. I have never struggled in a class before and I don't want this to become a trend for me. Does anyone have any advice?

Well you did sign up for it so you should expect more from yourself. If YOU thought that you could pass that class then you can. It seems like you just answered your own question. I hate to say it but if you want to make it you have to sacrifice and work VERY hard to get the grade you want.

work harder on it! dont be lazy... and dont drop b.c you could use this towards college credit!
