I am paying an account every month to my ISP for my internet connection on my single computer. the other day, i cannot access the internet, it keeps dropping off, and i have a very unstable connection. For short i cannot use the internet. I troubleshoot my network connection, but it said that i have a conflict wqith my IP address, it has been used by another system in the network. I checked my IP address through command prompt and it stated 192.168.0.1...i am puzzled! is it that i am paying for a very expensive internet connection but i do not have my own account? Does it mean that my internet connection is shared by other subscribers like through hubs or routers ? Does it mean that i don't have my personal account when in fact i am paying a high price per month for it? it is a DSL and not a dial up so i am puzzled why it is so slow before. Is it possible that when you are directly having an account from the ISP,the IP is still accessible by another subscriber?i need some light on this
