Trouble with Sony SLV-685HF VHS player?

Question

I put a VHS in, pressed stop, rewind, and waited. About halfway through the time it usually takes, the numbers stopped and changed to 3 01 05. Then I tried to press eject and it changed to 3 25 05. I've turned it on and off, pressed every button, and tried to hit eject. Nothing. Help?

try to unplug and wait for a couple of minute and plug back in.then try to turn it on and eject the tape.if it doesn't work,the tape might be jam in the loading machanism.in that case you need to send it repair.good luck.
