Trouble with a song in iTunes...?

Okay, so I have a song in my iTunes account that'll play in iTunes but it won't play on my iPod, like it'll just skip right over it and go to the next song...the song is Mexican Standoff: Elbow, if that makes a difference...

What causes this and how can I fix it?

I had a similar problem with my iPod.  It would not play songs by Rush.  I tried and tried, but no matter which album - From A Farewell to Kings to Come Sail Away...even the masterpiece Moving Pictures - it would not play on my iPod.  

I ended up having to return the iPod to Wal-Mart, where I bought it, and exchange it for one which shared my love of classic prog-rock.  Sometimes, it is best to agree to disagree and move on without investing time ina relationship that you both know is not going to work out in the end.

i don't know what's happening. but you could try to delete it off your iPod and put it back on.

Get another copy of the song and replace it with the new one.

The file is corrupted happens to some of mine that I get from Limewire.

Just re- download it from where you got it and it should be fine.
