Trouble with contact lenses!?

Question

I have tried to put contact lenses in, but I tend to close my eye's when my finger. Any tips on how to keep my eyelids from shutting?

Are you right handed????

Try using your middle finger of your left hand to hold up your upper eye lid and the middle finger of your right hand to hold down your lower lid, and put in your contact lenses using the index finger of your right hand. Its a bit complicated but try to open your lids as much as you can and hold tightly, hope this helps! It does take some practice in putting them in, I still struggle at times :D But if it sounds confusing try this site and follow the instructions :)

use your index finger to hold the top of your eyelid up by holding down top lases while putting the contact in with your middle finger.

hold down the bottom of your eyelid by pulling on the bags of your eyes with the index or middle finger on the OTHER hand.

I had the same problem bfore. When you first get them its pretty hard but after a while its very easy. You can hold your eye open or use a mirror it helps too.

Look up and use your peripheral vision. Hold your eye lid open with your index finger while doing so. It gets easier.

Use your index finger & your thumb.

Placed your index finger on your upper eyelid & thumb on your lower eyelid.

(To make your eyes look big.) Use another hand ( Index finger ) to hold the contact lens.

Relax yourself. Don look directly at the contacts. You'll feel scared & start blinking.

I had the same problem!

What you you have to do is look up.

If your doing your right eye,look up to the left and out your contact in on the bottom right corner of your eye. Then keep pushing/slide it up until it gets to the colored part of your eye. Do the oppisite on your left eye.
