Question:

Trouble with my 360 Blog. Please help!?

Several times this week, I have composed blog messages that simply disappear. I toil for hours to compose the perfect entry (whatever), click the "preview" button, and am taken to the "blog settings" page. I have tried clicking 'save' to save the settings, in hopes that my entry will post after this. Nope. I have tried clicking the 'back' button, to go back to my entry, and I do go back to the correct page, but my entry has been deleted. What the heck? Is MySpace any better? Can I blog there? Or am I just missing something?

Blessings!

  1. Because Yahoo 360 is being pretty much ignored by the Yahoo powers that be and this type of dilemma is running amuck all through 360 I’ve found that composing as much as possible in a word doc helps when this occurs because then “all” is not lost.

Also, regarding the preview button, I’ve seen where lately many are having issued with this particular feature period. I personally don’t use it, never have really, I create or compose my blog and when I’m done I just hit “post this entry” and usually it’s a done deal.

Regarding MySpace, well I’ve never found it to be a pleasant site and that is of course mostly me or my abilities to navigate through it. It does offer a blog, but I didn’t like that part of MySpace either. Check it out and see for yourself- naturally *winks.

Yahoo says that by the end of the year we’ll have a Universal Profile System (at least that is what they were calling it the last time I read up on it- can’t say they still are) where by they are merging many of their sites into one page, 360 included. So, and if so, we’re also promised a new and improved blogging experience and to this I humbly suggest you hang in there and hope for the best!

I hope this helps at least a little, good luck!
