12 - 6x-2 = 4x-5

10-6x=4x-5

add6x to both sides

10= 10x-5

add5 to both sdies

15=10x

15/10=x = 1.5 u can check by substitutign this in for x into the question to check

A=p(2+rt),

A = 2p+ prt

A-2p = prt

(A-2p)/ (pt) = r

10(3x-1) = 4x-5

30x-10 = 4x-5

30x-4x-10 = -5

26x = -5+10

26x = 5

x = 5/26
