For some reason whenever I watch videos on youtube or other such sites I am unable to hear any sound. I tried going to the adobe flashplayer website and having it accept global settings but that has so far proven uneffective. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

  1. Have you noticed the volume box in the bottom right corner of the video screen. You might have turned it down or muted it before and a cookie might have kept it that way.

    or ...

    2. It could be due to slow connection or high traffic.

Try watching it during off peak hours, the sound play will probably play better.

Or you could watch it offline... try using 'zillatube' .

It works well - Just google search "zillatube" to get it.

  2. Maybe Your Sound Driver Is Not Installed Whats Your Computer Model And Name

found two each of the sound drivers

    Sound #1 http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softw...

    Sound #2

You will probably need the Microsoft UAA HD audio driver, KB888111. Go here: http://hf.xable.net and scroll down to KB888111; click the green Download and install it BEFORE trying to install the audio and/or modem. And you should probably try to install the audio before the modem. Remember, those drivers I linked to are all at the HP site, so you should extract them and try to install them through the device manager instead of trying to run the setup.exe files.

    GOOD LUCK!

  3. Try restarting your Web Browser.

Then check if your computers sound is turned up and the Youtube Sound

If all else fails, restart your computer
