Trouble with video format from my camera PLZZZZZZ help?

Question

i have a figi type camera, and when i plug it up to the computer, the files that i put on (video) could be run in windows media player,powerpoint,windows movie maker ect, but now when i load them on to the computer the files only work with quicktime, they won't work on media player, or powerpoint and movie maker, it says problem reading file, it never used 2 do that and iam pissed coz iam trying 2 make a movie on movie maker and now the video's don't work(only on quicktime. PLZZZZZZZZZZ help,

and if u know how to put your video's of your camera onto your ipod TELL ME

and when i download songs of lime wire put them on itunes and media player and make a disc,they burn on but the disc dosen't work on the cd player tv or any thing
