What do you do about a s***w that wont seem to budge. I doesn't seem to show any sign of rust and WD-40 doesn't seem to help, any suggestions?

  1. there are bits that you can get that you put on a drill, you drill it into the s***w then back the drill out and it will pull it out

  2. If the head isn't stripped out, use the proper size s***w driver and as you try to turn tap on the end of the s***w driver handle. This may help. If it sticks out enough to get pliers on the head you may try turning with them. It could even be a s***w with left handed threads.

  3. There is an inexpensive tool available that can be used with s***w driver tips as well as sockets.

You hold it like a chisel, with the bit engaged in the s***w, then hit it with a hammer..

The blow drives the tip hard into the s***w, removes friction from the threads, and at the same time twists the s***w.

It is the very best for removing seized things.

  4. I need more information on it. What is is screwed into and how long is the s***w?  I would try to s***w it in more if possible and then try to back it out. Do this several times until it breaks loose. Also while unscrewing it, keep pressure pushed in on it.
