The win against the Rhone giants was Troyes’ first since their return to the top flight. And coach, Jean-Marc Furlan has expressed his delight at the way his side played on Tuesday, and denied Marseille a chance to return to the summit.
A hard-fought victory over Elie Baup’s side has pushed Troyes to 19th in the league, and the coach is hoping for more positive results in the upcoming games.
While talking to reporters after the game, an overjoyed Jean-Marc Furlan stated that the victory has lifted everyone at the club and it’s a moment to savour. After a number of bad results, the win has pleased everyone at Stade de l'Aube and the boss has

"We've been through so many negative emotions in the past fortnight that we're going to really savour the joy of the win.”

response.
“Given the big troubles our squad has had, I had to find the right words to bring the lads to life. And they played with generosity and solidarity.”
Praising the club president, Furlan said that the president is a relived man, after seeing Troyes register their first win of the season and he is looking forward to seeing more of the same performances in the future.
