  1. With all due respect to Boatin' in VA, I would at least double his $1000.

Can't be done for less than $2000

They just charged me $500 to move a 30 footer 60 miles.

  2. First figure 10 MPG pulling the boat, and 20 hours driving time.  So, $600 plus for fuel and about that for your time &.labor.    Add $300 or so for expenses.  Check with a boat dealer near you.  Sometimes they have boats shipped in on trailers that could hold your boat as a tag along.  If so you might cut a deal with them.  I havent checked lately but you might want to shove the boat in a seagoing container, and ship it motor fright.

  3. you've got approx $500 in fuel cost plus wear and tear on the truck to think of along with what you feel is good for your time.

you can figure on 10 hrs driving down to TX and 13 roughly on the way back...

if $10 per hour is sufficient you'd be looking at $230...$15 takes you to $345

Call it a grand and all should be happy! Drive carefully!!!

    Update:

"Due respect" taken very well Truenorth...taken very well.

The figures given were based on the information provided. Course when you're sitting on the fantail of the Octopus in the Med, well gee...what can be said?  : )
