I was at the mall and a assistant from tru talent came up to me and said i would be perfect for modeling or acting and gave me there card. My parents said its probably a scam, and everybody else says it is to.

I dont want to believe that but I have to know the truth from someone who has ACTUALY been there, and has gotten scammed.. Today i got a call from the place and they said that I could audition tomorrow.

Should I go?

Is it a scam??

PLEASE HELP

  1. Don't go.  Look up all the negative things on TTM on the internet.  Also look them up on the better business bureau websites for utah and nevada.  Nothing but scams.

  2. you never know whats a scam or not, you should go to meeting and see if it's legit. Many people say there are a lot of scams in acting and never pay for anything, but i went to an acting agency and took classes (i have to pay) and it got me A LOT of experience, i got headshots, a resume and many acting tips.. so see what they have to offer if it's very expense don't do it, if it's resalable and sounds good try it! :)

  3. Well if he told you that you would be perfect for acting, it's probably a scam. How would he know how you can act just by looking at you?

I would say it is a scam. Try a real agency. I am in multiple!

  4. SCAM

Check out the web site Bizparetnz.  Tru Talent is also listed on the Ripoff report.

  5. First, google the name and see if anything negetive comes up. If not, go if your gut and do what you want.

I'd go if everything looked okay (on google).

  6. GO but bring ur pocket knife or something u know for saftey
