Tru hd with onkyo sr605?

hello

can anyone tell me if they have overcome the issue of getting the tru hd light up on there onkyo sr605 receiver. My blu ray player can decode in tru hd and dolby digital plus but cant get the receiver to light it up. Only get dts neo dlby digital ex i have changed the settings on my blu ray to hdmi but still no joy. The receiver has no firmware updates as its brand new.

any ideas would be much appreciated

I own an Onkyo Pro PR-SC885P Preamplifier, and have the same issue, but it is not really a problem.

Set your receiver to PureAudio-Direct-Multichannel - and you are in business.

You can check your manual (page 63) for the settings.

It may be your cables.  HDMI 1.2 and 1.3a does not support Dolby TrueHD audio.  That was not added till 1.3b.  Check Atlona website in the 1.3b info section
