  1. You have a bad idle air control motor.  They stick closed, blocking off the flow of incoming air into the engine.  Thats why you have to keep your foot on the accelerator a little for it to start.  Fords are notorious for these going bad and the good thing is on the 3.0 liters, its right on top of the intake manifold under the engine cover.  May take all of 5 minutes to replace it, 2, 8mm bolts, rubber gasket and your done.

  2. Have You Changed The Oxygen Sensor ?

If You Havent It May Be Time Too.

How Many Miles Do You Have On It.

    They Are Expensive Okay .

100,000 Miles They Have To Be replaced.

They Tell The Computer What To Do .

And Have A Professional Run A Fuel Injection

Cleaning On It .It May Need It And Have

The Mechanic Check Ur Fuel Pressure

To See If Ur Fuel Pump Is Okay .

That Should Take Care Of It

  3. sounds like bad injectors.
