The cops said this is happening a lot. The men were viewed on surveilance but they are waiting for more info to arrest. Stay away and know, they set up an elaberate sceme to lure particularly older folks and robbed them forer jewlery and $$.

  1. Unfortunately,  there are always low-lifes who prey on travelers,   even the professional truck drivers have to watch out for them.

I hope the police can make a case.   If so,  your parents need to be sure to return to testify and get that scum off the street.

  2. Sorry to hear of this but a thieves has no regards for anything and I do hope that they are caught and prosecuted to the fullest of the law.

  3. Thanks for the information! I hope your folks are ok...

  4. At least you know that your old people are not injured and their RV not taken along. For me, I have an advantage, wearing steel toe shoes (as I'm an automotive personnel), so if I don't like the person trying to rob me, I'll just whack his shin hard with my steel toe. Then, only we talk...

  5. This does happen all the time. What they should do is only one gets out to gas up, the other one stays in side. Have both of them carry cell phones, and have them on. If the one inside hears anything that they don't like then they can call the cops. This is your best answer for that problem and of course the one pumping gas only has the credit card nothing else on them.
