Truckers Strike?? March 24th?

Is it true that the trucking business is going to shut down March 24th? This will hurt EVERYONE!!!

We need that strike,like in Italy.They got what they asked for.Everything is diferent now.We should strike to get those gas prices down or to get shippers and brokers to pay better for loads.Truckers they haul everything and if they stop everything stops in this country.

They are protesting the ridiculous cost of diesel,and being screwed over by the oil companies, and this is about the only way they can show their displeasure.

I for one am in support of their cause, and do not mind the inconvenience, if there is one, one little bit.

I work for a Trucking Company and this is the first I've heard of it. Most non Union Truckers can't afford to strike. Protest maybe about the high cost of fuel, which is digging very deep into their pockets. No end in sight for lower fuel cost truckers are slowly getting the message that there's no relief in sight. I really don't know how much longer they can last. I may be looking for other work soon myself.  I'm gonna look into that strike stuff though to see if it's really going to happen.

Yea, why would it not work?? This will hurt everyone??? is that not the point??? ITs high time that EVERYONE, especially those in government realize that ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING manmade has moved by a truck at some point.  Sure, non-union cannot afford a strike, butI learned something from casinos.  If I go into a casino, I always end up like todays trucker... less than what i came in with.  But, if I just blow right by it, I broke even, the same effect if a trucker were to not work at all.  You tell me what will benefit the trucker more!!!

i drive truck and I'm ready to stay home with no pay for this tI'me off . this has gotten way outta hand .as far as im concerned these oil rich nations need plenty of thing from us to live so i say make em pay ridiculous prices for these products . i think they LL get the picture .

My father, an owner operator, works non stop, sleeping only a few hours a day. No one realizes the importance of truckers. The impact they have with the simple things we require in order to survive. When your home eating the turkey they brought to your local supermarket on Thanksgiving, they're on the road at all ours trying not to fall asleep because of the high demands to get somewhere by a certain time. They are constantly harassed by FDOT and have to purchase insurances and permits and special licenses and on top of all that pay REDICULOUS prices on gas. I hope it does impact everyone and everything, how else will they get there point across??
