Question:

Trucking Company Practices?

I began working for a trucking company in Arkansas the end of July and was to be paid for orientation which lasted one week. Never got paid. I then have documented hours and mileage for the next two weeks and was not compensated the proper amount. I drove over 3000 miles and was paid about $200 less than what I should have been paid, both weeks. Who can I report this to? When I call the company, I am transferred to numerous people, none of who have an answer. I refuse to work these long hours, eating unhealthy, sleeping in a cab and spending time away from my family for less than minimum wage. This company also has many unsafe driving practices that could be reported.
