  1. Get a used 2004- Frontier. Great engines, very easy to find with 4 doors.

That or a Toyota truck, they have come a long way.

  2. You should consider buying a Toyota Tacoma. To compare different cars, you should go to Vehix.

  3. Why not check out a new Chevy or Ford.Better be prepared for some shocking trade in values

  4. Look at the Nissan Frontier crew cab. Starts at $21K & up. Good value & resale. I always bring up resale in my answers b/c it's so important to know that your money isn't going to waste. I love the USA, but some of the vehicles we produce just aren't holding up like they once did. My opinion.

  5. I like the Ford F150s myself.  TONS of interior room on the Supercab models--should be plenty for a car seat--and a very smooth ride.  You'd also never know it was a 4 door from the way the rear doors are laid out.  Or if you need more room, look for a club cab model.  Everybody makes them now.  Ford and Chevy are my recommendations.

Toyota trucks are nice, but overrated and often overpriced used.  Don't buy the hype on how Toyotas are indestructable.  The power train is solid and they have great resale value, but they're prone to rust.  Toyota has even been quietly recalling many of their trucks because the frames on them rust through, making them unsafe.  I wouldn't get one if I planned to keep it for a long time, and I definitely wouldn't buy used.

Nissan's vehicles look nice, but they've also had some spotty liability for a while now.  Same goes for Dodge.  Avoid Mitsubishis because repairs are a pain and can cost a fortune to get done.
