Trucks chevy or ford?

i was just wondering if ford is beter then chevy? and if i were to get a chevy is there one out there thats kind of like the F250 or 350?

Accordong to Car & Driver Magazine, Edmunds, Road & Track magazine, and motorweek tv, the Chevy Silevrado is a better truck.

Chevy lines are somewhat the same-- i.e., F250 would be chevy2500(3/4ton) F350 would be chevy3500 (one ton).

Ya the Chevy 2500HD & 3500 are direct competitors to the F250 & F350. The Chevy has 2 engines avalible. The 6.0L gas V8 & Duramax diesel. The Ford has both a gas V8 & V10 as well as their Powerstroke diesel. Both trucks are very good and it's all about what you want to spend, looks, style, & of course purpose. These trucks drink fuel in just about every configuration. So if you want a new one, think really hard about why your getting one. Plenty of used ones out there. But you must understand that these are work trucks and as a used vehicle, they are all about about having really been used. High miles, body damage, modifications, & broken parts. Everyone will have an opinion about what's better. So listen to yourself & make that determination for yourself. My opinions.

You'll get Ford people to say Ford and Chevy people to say Chevy.  The truth is that they are both American made and very long lasting, if you take care of them.  According to consumer reports, late model Chevys are generally more prone to repairs than Fords,  but Chevys offer more features than Chevys although recent model Fords are catching up. If you already own a Ford and like to maintain your own truck stick with the same brand you already know. We own 2 Ford trucks and an Expedition and lately we bought a 2007 F-150. Even though it was a new truck, we felt pretty familiar with it.  F250s compete with the 2500 Series, and F350 competes with the 3500 series.  The new F450 has no match from Chevy yet, but with gas prices they way they are, I don't think they' come up with one.
