This is a true story out of my unpublished book. I'm only putting it on here to get opinions on what people think. The book summed up for everyone... I use to live in a haunted house 10 years ago and below is one of the events that happened.. Enjoy
Tonight was our first gathering with friends. We started opening our doors for the party around eight o’clock and continued throughout the night. When we started to get enough people, everyone insisted that we explain the past hauntings. None of us really wanted to ruin the good vibe that we had going or possibly upset the spirit in any way. All of us finally gave in and started telling the stories how they had unfolded from day one. Soon, the whole party was sitting around listening to our tales like you would around a campfire and giving their feedback. A lot of the feedback was negative. They thought most of the stories were farfetched and didn’t want to believe us. Almost mocking them in a way, I thought. Toward the end of our stories, we felt a soft and then loud pounding coming from the floor underneath us, distinctively coming from the basement. I asked anyone if they were brave enough to come with me to check it out. To my surprise, half of the people wanted to come. I led the way over to the basement door and turned to the group and said in a joking manner, “This basement is very creepy, anyone who wants to back out, let me know.†That very moment, with the door still closed, we were all witness to the distinct sound of footsteps heading up toward the door. Immediately, half of the group sat down while five others and I held an ear to the door. I heard someone yell across the room, “Open the door, don’t be scared!†When I put my hand back on the doorknob it was ice cold. Not only was the temperature odd, but the door wouldn’t budge when I tried to open it. The k**b would turn but the door just wouldn’t move, even after three good shoulder thrusts. Eventually my friend said, “Watch out,†as he began to kick the door while I held the k**b turned, still nothing. We started hearing laughter from the girls as Darcy came over there with us and said, “This is how you do it.†She opened the door with ease as if nothing was ever holding it shut. We were all in shock, even Darcy. “Good luck down there,†she said right before we went down. I clicked on the light switch to light the basement but none of the lights came on, even after a couple clicks, but we still went down there even with no lights. I lead the way down with five people behind me when I heard someone say, “Do you hear that?†They were indeed the same fading whispers that I had been hearing when I walked down before. The voices were coming from the room directly under the living room where the party was going on. We made it to the bottom of the steps and I pointed out the room and told them that was where the pounding was coming from. Right before we entered the room, the flimsy 8ft x 6ft plywood wall began to shake out of control. Some of us were scared, frozen stiff and ready to run back upstairs, while the others walked towards it to see what may have been causing it. Once the first guy put his hand on the plywood, it stopped shaking. The same time he did this, over by the crawlspace, we distinctively heard a man with a low voice say, “Get out,†loudly enough so that everyone down there heard it. My first aspiration was to see everyone’s reaction. Unsurprisingly, they bolted up the stairs yelling all the way up. I was right behind them. Nobody upstairs really believed us when we told the story, in spite of all the witnesses. All of us talked in the living room briefly afterwards until the party began to wind down and people were ready to say their goodbyes.
