True Verdict to grab the straight second graded chance in the Silver Flash Stakes
The Group 3 Silver Flash Stakes have brought together a blend of highly exciting entries. Majority of them are very lightly raced and some have picked on their maiden so impressively through the first try that their very next stop has been the graded company.
Nine two-year-old runners will race over seven furlongs on Thursday, 19th July at Leopardstown.
Not been able to post a success yet but ruthless when it comes to being consistent is the two-year-old bay filly, True Verdict. Her three career starts have never budged from the second position that she has been scoring.
Her first ever racing experience was in the Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund 2YO Fillies Maiden on 16th May, 2012 at the Naas race course over six furlongs.
David Wachman’s under charge got deprived of success by the loss of just half a length. She qualified as the runner-up under the jockey, Seamie Heffernan. Getting the maiden cleared was, Mironica.
The two-year-old out of mare, Foolish Act, then parked second in the Coolmore Stud European Breeders Fund Sprint Stakes (Listed Race) on 4th June, 2012 at the Naas race course over six furlongs.
With jockey, W. J. Lee riding, True Verdict did not set into a high gear initially but made an appreciative effort by the time there were last two furlongs to be raced. She was second to the leader one furlong out. She kept up with the pace and failed to
impact the winner’s finishing.
The third career try of the Ben Sangster owned was in graded company on 1st July, 2012 at the Curragh race course over six furlongs in the Group 3 Grangecon Stud Stakes.
Sendmylovetorose won by the margin of 1 ¼ lengths as True Verdict finished right after with Wayne Lordan riding.
The 7 to 2 entry will need to look out for Harasiya and Rawaaq. Both the juveniles have performed so impressively in their career debuts that they have got a straight ticket in the graded company for their second lifetime attempt.
True Verdict will take on from the sixth gate in company with jockey, Wayne Lordan. Harasiya has been allotted the seventh stall. How will True Verdict deal with the inexperienced but talented rivals will surface soon.
