Question:

True ambassadors or impostors?

I happen to have noticed that the Qadyanis love quoting these ayahs in favor of the impostor Mirza:

وَلَوۡ تَقَوَّلَ عَلَيۡنَا بَعۡضَ ٱلۡأَقَاوِيلِ (٤٤) لَأَخَذۡنَا مِنۡهُ بِٱلۡيَمِينِ (٤٥) ثُمَّ لَقَطَعۡنَا مِنۡهُ ٱلۡوَتِينَ (٤٦) فَمَا مِنكُم مِّنۡ أَحَدٍ عَنۡهُ حَـٰجِزِينَ (٤٧

“And if he (Muhammad SAW) had forged a false saying concerning Us (Allâh swt), (44) We surely would have seized him by his right hand (or with power and might), (45) And then we certainly would have cut off his life artery (Aorta), (46) And none of you could witheld Us from (punishing) him. (47) (Surah:69)

But when they do so, they somehow manage to distort the tenses, and modify it:

"I will cut his life vain and not one of you could have kept Us from him"

(Don’t try to deny it. I have directly copied and pasted it from an answer by one of u Qadyanis on Y/A)

So, it has been refined to say ‘will’ alternatively, instead of ‘would have’!

But does that help much? Can this prove that Allah would have

  1. Dude your just favoring one translation of the Quran over another.

  2. Why don't they quote the following verses from the same surah:

    وَإِنَّهُ لَتَذْكِرَةٌ لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ - وَإِنَّا لَنَعْلَمُ أَنَّ مِنكُم مُّكَذِّبِينَ - وَإِنَّهُ لَحَسْرَةٌ عَلَى الْكَـفِرِينَ - وَإِنَّهُ لَحَقُّ الْيَقِينِ فَسَبِّحْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الْعَظِيمِ ]

    69: 48-51

    (48. And verily, this is a Reminder for those who have Taqwa.) (49. And verily, We know that there are some among you that deny.) (50. And indeed it will be an anguish for the disbelievers. (51. And verily, it (this Qur'an) is an absolute truth with certainty.) (52. So, glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most Great.)

  3. Sister maryam ! Nice point ,

qadyanis' whole religion is based on misinterpretation of Quran and Hadith,

and twisting words is the only fun they have learned from their Prophet , and his khulfas.

there r hundreds of example can be shown.

but problem is qadyanis R Master of twisting words so there is no use .

If u ask simple Question ,That what you consider non qadyanis ,Muslims or not ?

They will never give you true answer, even its proven many times from their mirza's and his khulfa's writting, that they consider all who rejected him,KAFIR.

  4. Dear Sister.  So you mean to propose that the greatest prophet in history, i.e. Muhammad (sa), is subject to this destruction if he lies, but someone claiming to be a false prophet gets off without any issue?  What a strange case that Allah swt would do such a thing.  How then, do you say Allah punishes a false Prophet?

Furthermore, your argument in, and of itself, is very weak and without basis.  You should learn the root arabic first before speaking.  Rather than even getting into the arabic, I present 3 NON AHMADI MUSLIM translations that show that you're entire "past tense" theory holds no water what so ever.

    069.044

YUSUFALI: And if the messenger were to invent any sayings in Our name,

PICKTHAL: And if he had invented false sayings concerning Us,

SHAKIR: And if he had fabricated against Us some of the sayings,

    069.045

YUSUFALI: We should certainly seize him by his right hand,

PICKTHAL: We assuredly had taken him by the right hand

SHAKIR: We would certainly have seized him by the right hand,

    069.046

YUSUFALI: And We should certainly then cut off the artery of his heart:

PICKTHAL: And then severed his life-artery,

SHAKIR: Then We would certainly have cut off his aorta.

    069.047

YUSUFALI: Nor could any of you withhold him (from Our wrath).

PICKTHAL: And not one of you could have held Us off from him.

SHAKIR: And not one of you could have withheld Us from him.

    069.048

YUSUFALI: But verily this is a Message for the Allah-fearing.

PICKTHAL: And lo! it is a warrant unto those who ward off (evil).

SHAKIR: And most surely it is a reminder for those who guard (against evil).

Two of these translations make clear that it is not just "present tense" but also "past tense"

In fact, here's another non-Ahmadi Translation.

then We would have assuredly severed his life-artery, the aorta of the heart, a vein that connects with it, and which if severed results in that person’s death, (69:46)

How much more clear could it be that the punishment for false Prophets is that Allah swt will destroy them??

Rather than making these bogus interpretations of very verses sister Maryam, I would humbly implore you to read the very next verse in the Holy Qur'an.

[69:50] And, surely, We know that there are some among you who reject Our Signs.

[69:51] And, verily, it will be a source of regret for the disbelievers.

[69:52] And, surely, it is the absolute truth.

[69:53] So glorify the name of thy Lord, the Great.

Do not reject these Signs of Allah, they are truth.  How much more clear could it be sister Maryam?

    EDIT:

@Sister Maryam - I'm not sure I understand your logic.  Allah is saying that Muhammad (sa) is a true prophet because if he had lied, then Allah would have killed him, right?  Hence, we see that Muhammad (sa) was true because Allah did not kill him.

Therefore, the rule becomes clear.  Allah kills false Prophets because they lie.  Since Muhammad (sa) was true, he did not get killed.  If he was false (God forbid), then he would have been killed why?  Becuase Allah kills false Prophets.

If Hazrat Ahmad (as) was false, then he would have been killed by Allah as NOT ONE OF MANKIND would have been able to protect him.  Look at the evidence in this modern age of people who have claimed Prophethood.

Ali Bab Muhammad - Founder of Bah'ai Faith - executed at 30

David Koresh - killed by US Govt

Joseph Smith - killed by an angry mob

Rashid Khalifa - killed by being stabbed 30 times

What does this have to do with Hazrat Ahmad (as) you ask?  The Qur'an is a guidance for all times, not just for one time.  The rules and regulations set forth are for all time, for all mankind, I'm sure you would agree with this that all of the Qur'an is for all time.  This is even expressed in these very verses because Allah further clarifies that false prophets will die by saying "verily it is a reminder for the righteous" so that people know that this promise Allah makes is for all time.  It is a reminder for all time. Any time a false prophet comes and claims to be from Allah, he will be killed.  There is no escaping this law of Allah swt.

    EDIT:

@Sister Maryam - I'm not sure where you're deriving "ambassador" and "liar" from.  Allah only talks about Muhammad (sa) being a true prophet becuase if he had lied, Allah would have cut his life vein.  It's a very clear cut verse and also includes, "verily it is a reminder for the righteous."

Why would this punishment or threat of Allah need to be a reminder if it was noly for Muhammad (sa)??  It is because the Qur'an is for all times, and this law of Allah is for all times.  If a Prophet lies, Allah will destroy him and kill him.  I cited numerous examples of this in recent history, even from the time of Hazrat Ahmad (as).  Allah so clearly says that "not one of you could have stopped Us" so the question comes....why did Hazrat Ahmad (as) survive if he was a false prophet?

I'm sure you recognize that All prophets are mocked and rejected when sent by Allah.  17:94 makes clear reference to this. Thus, Allah shows us how to differentiate between a truthful and liar Prophet.  The liars are killed while the truthful are given special protection by Allah.

These verses couldn't be more clear about this fact.

love for all, hatred for none

  5. Maryam and others,

Before posting your genious ideas about Quran, you should do little homework. The1qFactor has already posted translations of those ayah from non-ahamdi sources. Now please dont say that Yousaf Ali, Pickthal and Shakir are Ahmadis too.....:)

    No offence!
