i am new at online sports betting. i made a ticket, 2 team 7 point teaser, ties push. it was as follows:

1.team A1/A2 (fake team names) over 48.5

2.team B1/B2 (fake team names) under 51.5

if that 1st game finishes with a total of 49, what happens if ties push?

what if it finishes with a total of 48 ?

same with the 2nd game ? what if it finished with a total of 51 or 52 ?

  1. If the line is 48.5 or 51.5, you can't tie or push, so don't worry about it.

On some teasers, if you win one game, then tie the other, the bookie considers it a loss, but in this example, you can't get a tie.

  2. Ties mean the line and outcome are the same.

In your case, the line of 48.5 and 51.5 cannot be tie since the game itself only uses full score(no half).

If the line would have been 48, then you could have a tie.

    Let's say team A1 scored 20, A2 scored 28, then totals would be 48, or a tie.

Anything above or below the line is not a tie.

In your case, with the lines of  "OVER" 48.5 and "UNDER" 51.5:

If it ends at 49, you win.  48 you loose.

If the 2nd game ends at 51, you win.  52 and you loose.

  3. You cannot have a tie/push on totals or point spreads with 1/2s.  If the final total for game 1 was 48, then it would be under.  But, if the O/U was 48, and the final total was 48, then it would be a push.  The 1/2s are just there to ensure that there cannot be a tie/push.  And FYI, a tie/push results in the bettor being returned his wager amount.
