Basically they're leading us to assume that

(a) Global warming is bad.

(b) We speed up the process.

My response (a) is a natural process as they agree so "good" or "bad" is purely perceptive and certainly not in any way normative.

My response (b) if (a) is invalid then what does it matter even IF we speed it up?

So there's a consensus that it's naturally caused but disagreement over whether man-made emissions affect it. So far there is no empirical evidence to suggest we do, we're still waiting for that

True But your teacher will not like that answer. There is no proof it is caused by man. The earth cools and warms at a natural rate. There are factors such as water vapor, El Nino and the sun that cause it. There is so little CO2 and its ability to reflect sun is so miniscule that it is not a valid cause. There is also evidence the earth is cooling(Why do you think the IPCC now calls it climate change?).

True, for millenias this planet's climate has changed multiple times. To state this time it's caused or sped up by human activity is absolute craziness. In fact it reminds me of the Dark Ages when people were afraid of every little change in nature and wondering if it was caused by witchcraft.

Every time Global Warming was brought in the speeches given in the Democratic convention I just shook my head. To act as if it's something to be afraid of and something the government needs to do something about is insane, since all the government will do is tax us for programs they'll find don't do a darn thing. So trying to claim you're for Middle Class and Poor families is a bunch of bull, when they bring that up.

I know the Republican Convention will also bring it up, since it's the catch phrase of the day.
